I really liked the straps around the arrow quiver (link), so I also wanted to try to make the ridges around the riser (handle) of the bow.
At first I tried flat discs stacked on top of eachother, and then I tried these bevelled discs, but to be honest, I think the result looks very ugly... :o(
The ridges are very small on the actual LEGO minifig bow of course, and for the arrow quiver, exaggerating them worked out great, but for the bow... it doesn't work out so well... ;o)
So instead, I will make a basic riser without ridges, which will look *much* better!
