Papercraft LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker minifig WIP1!

So I was thinking: how about combining my love for papercraft, LEGO, ánd Star Wars? ;o)

Although in the past, the LEGO Group always came up with their own themes, nowadays many of them are based on existing movie franchises and stories, and Star Wars is undoubtedly the biggest one!

Luke's X-wing Fighter set 7140 was one of the first official LEGO Star Wars sets I got, so it will be fun to make rebel pilot Luke as a paperfig, including his cool lightsaber! ;o)

But first, I'll start by making the iconic orange rebel pilot jumpsuit that Luke's wearing in this set:

Most pieces like the legs, hips, arms and hands are just a simple colour change from one of my other papercraft LEGO minifigs, and with a good 2D scan of the minifig, it's not too difficult to make the texture for the torso too as you can see! ;o)

Stay tuned!

    1. I have it too! It was the first "official" LEGO X-wing I got, although of course like most boys probably I had built many "unofficial" ones of my own before already. ;o)

    1. Th head in the picture is yellow actually, not skin coloured; it's the version from the original release and the paper model I'm making will also have the original, yellow head yes. ;o)
