Advance Wars Yellow Comet training video
I know, I know; I'm supposed to be working on TP hero Link... ;o)
And I am, but after already starting this Yellow Comet Artillery unit when I was making the instructions for Lulu's Moomba doll, I just had to finish it first:

It's not a lion!! >:3
If you didn't know about my lame sense of humor yet, you do now. ;o)
But don't let that stop you from downloading and building Lulu's Moomba doll:

Tomb Raider 1-3 T-Rexes
I finally figured out why Tomb Raiders 1 through 3 are still the bests in the series: they have T-Rexes!
And now you can make your own:

Tomb Raider Chronicles Extreme Depth Suit, have fun building!
I just finished replaying "The Cistern"; Lara needs two Rusty Keys, two Silver Keys and one Gold Key to exit the level.
She should really learn how to pick a lock. Skills like that may come in handy when you're a Tomb Raider.
More importantly:

Tomb Raider III blank quad bike templates re-release
Maybe it's because I started my new Tomb Raider papercraft project, but I received several messages from people about the TR3 quad bike model I made earlier.I released several versions of that one, including a blank one that you could print on coloured cardstock, or that you could colour yourself.
But therein lies the problem for the people that e-mailed me: they didn't know how to edit the PDF files on the computer, so I decided to release the blank quad bike as plain jpeg files, that everybody should be able to work with (but of course if you want to, you can also colour them after you printed them! ;o)
If you want to mix and match components with the coloured versions, make sure to print them at the same scale. The instructions stay the same of course, have fun building!

The legend of Zelda: Cremia's wagon
Here's Cremia's wagon to go with the Romani Ranch mule I made recently. And before anybody asks: I glued the front of the wagon together a little differently from in the game. ;o)

Romani Ranch mule
Despite all the SLMs (smooth look models) that I've been making (and working on... ;o) recently, I absolutely love the polygonal look of "older" computer games, like the classic Tomb Raiders and the N64 Zeldas.
So I plan to make *lots* more paper models from those games, starting with this Zelda mule from Majora's Mask!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer papercraft model
What can I say? I got distracted. ;o)
Paper Buffy stands about 28 cm tall (here's a picture of it with a leather clad, cigar smoking monkey for size comparison) and you can the parts and instructions to build it yourself (Buffy, not the monkey) from here:

Advance Wars Black Hole MD Tank
The Orange Star Rocket unit is an old model, the Black Hole MD Tank is a new one. Seeing this rare footage, it's no wonder Black Hole was able to take over Macro Land so quickly...

New Kurt (not Russell) papercraft model
The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated. I'm still here. ;o)
There weren't too many updates on my Cloud model the last two weeks, because I've been busy with everyday's stuff and well... test building Kurt.
I already did all the work on the 3D model over a year ago, before the "Great Computer Failure" of january 2008... So I was pretty happy I found it again. ;o)
In a year's time, one gets new ideas on how to make paper models, so I tweaked the 3D model a little more, but not much. I spent the first week secretly test building the head, body and legs, and last week I basically did one arm a night. ;o)
I'm very happy with how it turned out, it is a lot more balanced than it looks, and it's not insanely big (just 25 cm or so) and yet the parts themselves are of a good size to handle (except the four fangs, they're quite small).
The biggest drawback I guess, is that it has a whopping 155 parts: but what'd you expect with 6 arms with 11 parts each? ;o)

Papercraft Ganondorf release
I had so much fun building building it that I just couldn't stop, so I managed to complete it this week still.
In the end it took me a lot longer to make than I anticipated at first, but I'm very happy with how it turned out. So here it is (in the Zelda section of course ;o)

Black Hole & Yellow Comet Stealth Fighters
Sorry to keep you guys waiting: The site seems a bit slow today, I'm not sure what's up with that. Maybe my ISP is suffering from the Y2009 bug. Just try reloading and/or emptying your cache, it's still there. ;o)

Advance Wars Dual Strike Stealth Fighter
It is ironic that Advance Wars Dual Strike's most powerful jet Fighter is modeled after the F-117A Nighthawk, because in real life, it is probably the worst jet fighter out there. But there's no shame in that of course, for a bomber. ;o)
I already coloured the other armies, but I still have to copy/paste the parts to the templates. I'll build those as well, so I can take pictures of them for my website. I'm gonna be away most of the day but they're quite easy to build, so with any luck I can release them tomorrow.
And no, I haven't forgotten about Ganondorf. ;o)
For now, have fun building the Orange Star Stealth:

Advance Wars papercraft hits the water!
Not literally of course: so don't go throwing your Green Earth Cruiser in the water! It's one of those little side projects again that I work on when I can't use the computer (which is a lot more often than I was hoping), have fun building!

Majora's Mask Clock Town Schauzer
It's that dog, that bugs Link when he first enters Clock Town as a Deku Scrub in Majora's Mask. ;o)
It's scaled and available in lined and unlined versions to match my young Link papercraft model.
