The white Black Hole Recon unit

Another unit in "winter camouflage", so far the Black Hole Recon test build came along pretty nicely. One or two minor issues to fix, and then I can start colouring it. ;o)

New paper model reconnaissance

I've been pretty busy, so I haven't really had the time to start on a new paper model yet.

I want to make a new Advance Wars unit, and after the Blue Moon Recon I did last, I figured I'd do the Black Hole Recon next. ;o)

Cylon Raider final build

I managed to complete the final build of the Raider, so now it's really a matter of making the instructions (which hopefully I'll have time to start on this weekend) before I can release it.

Guess which parts will be the wings

I didn't have too many problems during the test build, so the final templates were quickly made. Can you spot the wings? ;o)

Taped test build

I usually use tape for scratchbuilding the parts for my handmade models, because it lets you take them apart again if you're not happy with one specific part, without having to re-build the other parts as well.

But it works on the Raider's wings as well, just to keep the top and bottom half temporarily connected together while I check whether or not the connection with the hull is alright.

So far it's looking great, and I don't have too many things to fix. ;o)

First Cylon Raider test build (and second, third and fourth one)

It might feel like you're not making any progress, but if a test build reveals that things don't fit together the way you thought, taking a few steps back and redoing them is really the best way to fix them. ;o)
