Getting the decorations on Governor Broadside's bicorne right is really just a matter of trial and error. ;o)
Using a scan of the real LEGO bicorne, I simply drew the pattern in Photoshop, and kept adjusting it until it looked right:
So far so good, but the Governor looks kinda creepy without a face, so that'll be my next step! ;o)
