Fiddlers Green released this Piper L-4 Grasshopper as Veterans Day freebie!
The Piper L-4 Grasshopper is the military version of the Piper J-3 Cub, and was used as observation plane, ambulance aircraft and for small field extractions (this version even has the black-and-white "invasion stripes" used during the D-Day landings in World War II so the troops on the ground could easily recognize friends from foes in the skies above)
