Nico the yellow canary meets Blu when he first comes to Rio de Janeiro. In "Rio 2", he and his friend Pedro the red-crested cardinal (with whom he owns a samba club in Rio de Janeiro) are trying to find new talents for the upcoming Carnival! ;o)
