In 2000, the
Chinese National University of Defense Technology created China's first bipedal robot. It was ridiculed for its appearance and looking as if it had a "crotch cannon"... To be honest, I really missed that whole story, but thanks to MX1 's papercraft of
Xianxingzhe (Senkousha / Forerunner) you can still get a feeling of what it looked like!
