What can I say? I got distracted. ;o)
Paper Buffy stands about 28 cm tall (here's a picture of it with a leather clad, cigar smoking monkey for size comparison) and you can the parts and instructions to build it yourself (Buffy, not the monkey) from here:

Josh Darrah's (PaperJoz) King of Red Lions sea base
Well, it's finally here!
A lot of people asked me about this, and Josh sure took his time preparing it for the release, but I think you'll understand why when you see it. ;o)
It's Josh's long-awaited sea base for my King of Red Lions model. The download is located at Josh's hall of fame listing, where you can also see some more pictures of the sea base in action.
Have fun building and be sure to let Josh know (his e-mail is on the template) if you like it!

Flipper (not the dolphin)
Finally an update on my new Zora armor Link project!
And then it turns out to be such a tiny one... ;o) For some reason I always seem to start from the bottom up, making the feet first, and working my way up to the head.
But even Link's flippers aren't ready yet, so I can't go on to the next part yet...
(well I mean I can, but I want to finish the flippers first ;o)

SLM's and glue spillage tutorial
Last weekend with Easter and all, and the busy week I've had, I haven't been able to make any real progress on my Zora armor Link. I'm hoping to do so this weekend again, though.
But in anticipation, I made this little tutorial. For many of my SLM's ("Smooth Look Models" - the ones that don't need to have sharp folds, but that you can just curve) I make the arms, legs and torso out of rings stacked together.
Sometimes I put all the glueing tabs on one side, and this video will show you the difference between where you apply your glue. ;o)
Of course the best way to avoid glue spillage, is just to not use too much glue, and don't try to rush yourself. If you want to read along with the computer voice, you can download the script I used here.
Have fun watching!

Ordon shield & Ordon sword
So I decided on Zora armor Link from Twilight Princess as my next big project. I did choose a slightly different pose though, one that looks less like Link has a hump... ;o)
And of course I had to change the cap to make him look less like one of the coneheads... The attributes I chose him to have are the Ordon Sword and the Ordon Shield.

Of course the Hylian Shield and Master Sword are more iconic to the Legend of Zelda, but I felt they looked too "shiny" on the Zora armor outfit, and I think they will look better on Link in his Hero Clothes. ;o)

Advance Wars Black Hole MD Tank
The Orange Star Rocket unit is an old model, the Black Hole MD Tank is a new one. Seeing this rare footage, it's no wonder Black Hole was able to take over Macro Land so quickly...
Have fun building!
