Download free papercraft (Pepakura / ペーパークラフト / bouwplaat / bouwplaten / bastelbogen / printables) models of movies, cartoons and video games and much more to build yourself! (I suffered a bad stroke on January 4th, 2025 which takes me making my own papercrafts a lot longer, sorry...!)
I didn't release any new papercrafts this year (I still have to finish Joanna Dark from Perfect Dark 64!) but I hád to make one for Halloween of course! 😉

I released a new papercraft less than two weeks ago, but I always like to release one for Halloween too, so as promised: here is my Halloween 2023 papercraft: the Faceless One, from the Warcraft III expansion pack The Frozen Throne! 🦑

Another year, another Halloween! 🎃🙂 This year, I decided to finally make a papercraft Basil the Batlord 'mini'figure (he's about 27,5 cm tall) from the 1997-1998 LEGO Castle Frights Knights 🦇 theme.

Every year, I like to make a special ~scaaaaary~ papercraft for Halloween. 🎃 And I think the Moon from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is exceptionally scary...! 🌚😨
I've been working on it for the past few weeks, even though I didn't really change as much from the game model as I sometimes do for a new papercraft.
Most of the work went into editing the textures. Some of them didn't seem properly aligned on the game model, and even though it's very hard to see because of the crater-pattern, I decided to redo all the textures.
Especially in the face, the original textures looked extra stretched to me. It actually was pretty tough to redo in a way that looked good. But I think it turned out okay. 😊
Another thing was the mouth. On the game model, it is just a flat texture, but I decided to give the papercraft a simple open mouth because I felt it would look a little nicer in the physical world. 😀
The test build went together pretty fast, but don't think Majora's Moon is a simple papercraft just because it doesn't have a lot of parts and the parts themselves are nice and big...!
Some parts are actually pretty tricky, but as is the case with all papercrafts, it becomes easier if you make sure you pre-shape all the parts thorougly with all the fold lines and curves before gluing them together.
But even then, it is always difficult to make spherical papercrafts, especially when it is time to glue the sections together to close the sphere and you can't really reach inside anymore, so take your time, and don't become frustrated...!

I haven't been posting any new works in progress recently, but that doesn't mean I don't have a work in progress! 😀
I really to make a special Halloween papercraft each year, so that's what I've been working on the past few weeks. I don't want to spoil it before it's Halloween🎃 coming Sunday though, so you'll have to do with this censored image for now... 😊
The base models are from the Warcraft III video game (the original Reign of Chaos one from 2002) but as usual I tweaked them a bit compared to the game models; like how the legs connect to the thorax (it is still pretty difficult to glue them on, but take your time and don't worry about it being messy! 😉) and adding fangs(because I felt it made them look scarier... 😁)
● Photo paper
The Warcraft III game has four different colors of spiders (I'll add a 3D model extraction tutorial for Warcraft III soon) and I added a blank version where you can easily see the fold lines (it's mostly for the legs, and after doing one you probably get the idea 😉).
Normally I use plain, 200 gsm paper to build my papercrafts, but this time I decided the colors and the spiders's exoskeletons might look extra nice if they would be a bit shiny - so I decide to print the parts on glossy HP Everyday Photo Paper Q5451A.
And the finished paper Spiders do look really nice I think, but I have to say it was so much more difficult! to glue with the Tesa All-purpose glue that I always use; The glossy finish makes everything more slippery with the glue, and it took much longer to get a good bond before I could let go of the parts... 😝
