papercraft young Link built by fetus / @nemutaisutef

Late 2025 (happy New Year btw 🥳), fetus send me a tweet using their Twitter ("X" nowadays 😉) account @nemutaisutef sharing that they built my free papercraft young Link! 😀

Because you can't see tweets without being logged in yourself I think though, I asked if it be okay to embed it imn the hall of fame om my papercraft webpage and they said "of course!" 🙂

Have a look at the Hall of Fame on my website to see @nemutaisutef's embedded tweet with some more pictures and lots more examples of paper models built by papercrafters from all over the world:

How To Model Using Soda Cans OCIPMS presentation by Bob Penikas

In 2012, Bob Penikas sent me some pictures of an aluminium can Batman that he made using the papercraft templates from my website.

That sounds easy enough ("I'll just flatten out an aluminium can and then I can just cut out and glue the parts together just like a sheet of paper!") but of course it does require a bit more forethought than that. 😉

The first day of this year, Bob sent me an email that he did a small presentation on How To Model Using Soda Cans last year for the OCIPMS (the Orange County chapter of the International Plastic Modeler’s Society) about his process, tools that he likes to use and other things!

The presentation was filmed and Bob put it on his YouTube channel, so if you're thinking about making paper models out of aluminium cans too, you know where to get started! 😀

Papercraft LEGO Michael" Air Jordan by Ben

Three new additions to the hall of fame on my papercraft webpage in one week! 😀

And this time, it’s not just a “simple” build of one of my papercrafts, Ben actually repainted one of my papercraft LEGO minifigs to resemble the LEGO Michael “Air” Jordan minifigs! 🏀

Have a look at the 'hall of fame' on my papercraft webpage for Ben's other papercraft LEGO minifigs builds, and lots more examples of my paper models built by papercrafters from all over the world:

my free papercraft Half-Life Gordon Freeman built by Lautaro

Another papercraft for the 'hall of fame' already after yesterday's Tomb Raider motorboat by Gwendoline! This time it's a more recent one: Gordon Freeman from Half-Life, built by Lautaro from Argentina. 😀

Tomb Raider II Venetian motorboat papercraft build by Gwendoline

Did you know that that the Venetian Motorboat from Tomb Raider II was the first papercraft that I made using the Pepakura Designer papercraft making software instead of just by hand using a pencil and a piece of paper?

That was in 2005 already, but I'm happy to see when somebody still likes to build it themselves - like Gwendoline, who put her own special touch on it as usual! 😀

Have a look at the Hall of Fame on my website for more pictures (including a sort of hidden hommage to Lara I think? 😉) and lots more examples of paper models built by papercrafters from all over the world:

LEGO minifigure collection built by Ben

Just like me, Ben has lot of fond memories of LEGO minifigures!

So as you can see, he made a whole bunch of the papercraft versions that he downloaded from my papercraft webpage! 😀

Have a look at the Hall of Fame on my website for more pictures from Ben's papercraft LEGO minifigure collection and lots more examples of paper models built by papercrafters from all over the world:

Saschacraft's papercraft Tomb Raider Rolling Boulder vignette by Gwendoline

Despite being busy with training, Gwendoline showed me her latest papercraft build: the Rolling Boulder vignette that she downloaded from Saschacraft's weblog! 🙂

Don't worry about Lara, though: we all know she'll just slide down the slope and jump over the Deadly Spikes at the bottom to avoid the giant boulder chasing her.

Have a look at the Hall of Fame on my website for more pictures and lots more examples of paper models built by papercrafters from all over the world:

papercraft "Tomb Raider II Lara Croft and the treasure chest key" vignette by Gwendoline

If people want to show a papercraft that they built, nowadays most people just post it on their social media, or on a forum or website that they're a member of (or they're just happy to have some fun building a papercraft and just leave it at that of course 😊)

So it's extra fun when people like Gwendoline take the extra time to share some nice pictures for me to add to my old "Hall of Fame" on my website!

She already built a couple of other papercraft Tomb Raider vignettes earlier, and this time she made a combination of the Tomb Raider 2 40 Fathoms 🤿 one and the Great White shark 🦈 (that was one of the first papercrafts I made using Pepakura Designer actually 😊), and she even added a cut little key that Lara's has to get from the shark...!

Have fun building!

Golden Lara papercraft vignette built by Gwendoline

You may remember Gwendoline from sharing pictures of the papercraft Keyfisher Lara vignette she built only shortly after I released it already?

Well she did it again with the Midas Lara vignette, even using special gold paper! 😀

She did a great job building it, and I really like the dramatic shadow on the wall! 👤😱 😀

papercraft TIE Fighter

It's always a lot of fun to see papercrafts built by other people. Especially if it's a papercraft you made yourself, like the Star Wars TIE Fighter, and especially if the person did a great job, like Valentin!

You can see Valentine's TIE Fighter in the "hall of fame" of my main papercraft website, along with many more examples of people that built my papercrafts over the years:

I hope it makes you want to try out papercraft too some time, have fun! 😀

papercraft Tomb Raider vignettes built by Gwendoline

Tomb Raider fans come from all over the world, these papercraft vignettes were built by Gwendoline from France using the free templates from my webpage!

Don't you just love the sand colored textured wall and the ancient looking cup? 😉

Blake7 combined my papercraft Battlestar Galactica Viper Mk.II with Uhu02's version! :o)

In the past, I used to get lots of pictures from people that built one of my papercrafts, and I would always ask them if they would like me to show them in the "hall of fame" on my papercraft website. 🏆

Nowadays of course, most people have a Twitter or Facebook or other social media account and they can just show the papercrafts they put together on there! 😀

So it's been a while, but this week, I got an email from Blake7 again. He remade my papercraft Battlestar Galactica Viper Mk.II into lots of different versions in the past, but one thing he didn't do yet: merge it with the insanely detailed version of papercraft creator Uhu02!

Blake7 used the cockpit, landing gear and cannons from Uhu02's Colonial Viper to update my version, which you can see in the "hall of fame on my papercraft website:

(and if you want to see more of Uhu02's version and all the other awesome sciencefiction and fantasy papercrafts he made, you can check out his website here: http://uhu02.way-nifty.com/die_eule_der_minerva/2013/08/040-viper-3a81.html)

papercraft U.S.S. Defiant built by Tomek from Poland!

Even if it's been a while since I received pictures of one of my papercraft models built by somebody else, I hope a lot of people still enjoy them of course! (I do still see pictures sometimes on Twitter, Facebook, DeviantArt, or other social websites of course 😉)

This time though, Tomek from Poland sent several pictures of the papercraft U.S.S. Defiant that he made to me directly: I think it's Bill Perry's redraw version, and Tomek did some extra work like weathering the exhausts and off-setting some of the parts giving it some extra depth and detail, which gives it a personal touch and looks really nice! 🚀😀

Don't forget to check out the 'hall of fame' on my papercraft webpage for lots more pictures by Tomek and lots of other people:

papercraft Kingdom Hearts Cloud by Richard

If you  from time to time like to browse through the "hall of fame" with pictures from the papercrafts that people built from my papercraft website, you might recognize the name Richard, because he built quite a few of my papercrafts already! 🙂

There's a funny coincidence too: Richard send me the pictures Saturday already, but I didn't have time to upload it to the "hall of fame" until today.

And then when I went to link to the post with the parts and instructions for people that might wanted to build it too, I noticed it was the same day March 28th when I uploaded the parts and instructions to my website -- 10 years ago already!? (omg, time really flies...!! 😉)

It's great to see people still enjoy my older papercrafts so I'll keep them up as long as I can for people to download for free. 😉

Have fun building, and don't forget to check out the "hall of fame" on my papercraft webpage for lots of great and sometimes really funny pictures of people's papercraft builds:

papercraft Zora armor Link & Skyward Impa built by John

Although I haven't made as many papercrafts as I used to be able to do lately, they're still all there on my papercraft webpage to download and enjoy, like Zora armor Link and Skyward Impa from The Legend of Zelda, built here by John, who actually printed them on A3 paper to make them a little bigger! 😃

Bob built my free papercraft Underworld wetsuit Lara

Last time, Bob made papercraft Lara from Tomb Raider: Legend, this time he made wetsuit Lara from Tomb Raider: Underworld, upping the antics by using the butt joint technique (I made an old explanation video here: link) for an extra smooth look!

Papercraft Tomb Raider Lara Croft (and aluminium can Batman ;o) by Bob Penikas

Bob Penikas is a real papercraft enthustiastic, and some years ago, he made a really cool looking aluminium can Batman figurine using the papercraft templates from my website!

This time though, he just used paper to make my papercraft Lara Croft from Tomb Raider Legend, ready for action with her shotgun!

Final Fantasy X papercraft Lulu built by Richard

Although I don't have nearly as much of spare time now to make papercrafts as I used to (hopefully in the future again! 😇) I think it's great that people still like to build the older ones too, like Lulu! ;o)

Paper Mario 3D (and other papercrafts ;o) built by Richard

Remember Richard, who made some of my papercrafts earlier? Well, he was playing Super Mario 64 🎮 and he couldn't resist building my Paper Mario 3D! (and as you can see, his Paper Mario won't have to worry about being lonely 😉)
