Perfect Dark Joanna Dark papercraft WIP 1 : only the beginning

I had hoped to have finished Joanna Dark for my papercraft 3D shooter series in 2023 (since the Perfect Dark game is set in 2023) but thanks to some extremely busy months, as you can see I'm just starting on it with only a few days to go in 2023 (belated Merry Christmas by the way!)

I extracted her game model from the Nintendo 64 version using the same method as for Turok, but since making a papercraft takes me a lot longer than a few days, finishing it will just have to be one of my New Year resolutions for 2024 (along with all the other papercrafts on my ever growing to do-list!)

free papercraft Italian ocean liners SS Duilio and SS Gulio Cesare by Retrocale

Maybe it's because it's the Christmas season, and maybe it's because they're sister ships, but this thisime Retrocale made two papercraft ships to share with other ship-loving papercrafters in one go! 🚢🎄😀

The SS Duilio was launched in 1916 already but only completed in 1923, after her sister ship the SS Gulio Cesare was already completed after been ordered in 1920!

Both ships served as ocean liners for the Italian shipping company Navigazione Generale Italiana but were chartered to the International Red Cross in World War II and ultimately sunk by Allied bombers (luckily after already been laid up).

Last year's Christmas gift 🎄🎁 from Gunnar's Bildrum.se website was a papercraft Tordmulen motorboat. Gunnar's 2023 Christmas gift is similar in that it's a papercraft boat, but this time it's a sailing version. ⛵😀

It's actually based on a small dinghy type that Gunnar made in full scale from a kit in the 1970s to and that he enjoyed for many years for himself and with his family!

free Papercraft Tactics Final Fantasy Tactics windmill

Papercraft Tactics shared this papercraft Final Fantasy Tactics windmill map earlier this year from the actual map they extracted from the game! 🎮

They shared it for free on their blog explaining that you'll need to add or remove some of the gluing flaps (and you don't need all the parts) to build it yourself too, and they also shared download some 3D printable parts for the mechanical pieces to make the sails spin (link)! 😀
