Papercraft Linebeck v2

Paper is very easy to work with and it's very forgiving, so there is always quite a bit of tolerance in papercraft models. But after I built Linebeck, I felt that there was a *too* much tolerance on his head...!

It was leaning back a bit *too* much, so I re-made his neck to remedy this, and luckily for Linebeck, I think it cured his whiplash. ;o)

So: now the instructions, and then the release. Stay tuned!

  1. I really like the outcome. One question: what thickness of paper use

  2. I always use 200 gsm paper (about 2.5 times thicker than regular printer paper) for my paper models.

But although I always recommend using thicker paper than regular printer paper (because that way, the final paper model will be stronger) *how thick exactly* is really a personal choice for paper models like this one.

Some people like to use 120 gsm paper, others 160 gsm and some people even use thicker paper than 200 gsm or special paper like glossy paper or even photo paper.

I think the best advice I can give you, is if you have already built paper models before, and you used a paper that you liked to work with, then keep using it! ;o)
