Oakusan made a website to share his 2D pixelcrafts from Nintendo classics like Yoshi, Mario, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Zelda, Bomber Man, Mega Man, and undoubtedly many more to come! ;o)
Download + build your own 2D Nintendo pixel papercrafts (by Oakusan):
As long as you fold the strips in all the right places! ;o) I think they made quite a few, and if you google some sprites you can even make your own very easily! ;o)
sure, I definitely think so: try to find game sprites that are as big as possible, and make sure to keep the edges clean if you have to enlarge them (preferably not jpegs...)
Then all you really need to do is mirror it, and create a strip between them that's long enough to go all the way around the edges (you can literally count the squares you need to cover ;o)
Don't forget the glueing flaps! (you don't really have to draw them, you just have to remember to cut them when you're cutting out your 2D papercraft ;o)
Thank you so much !
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, have fun pixelcrafting! ;o)
