I never understand why some people will giggle and become embarrassed if you talk about the sewer system and what happens at the facilities that are necessary to keep it working, like these Izumicho and Shirahige Nishi pump stations, just because they think it's a 'dirty' subject... 💩😅
It's actually very important to make sure people can live together in big cities without problems! In Japan, they are even proud to make sometimes very beautiful manhole covers for the sewers. And if you don't believe me, let Earth-kun explain it to you because he wears one on his head with a cherry blossom flower design! 🌸⚫
