Hans de Wolf experimenteert de laatste tijd met "het ontwerpen van papieren bouwplaten van (min of meer bolvormige) objecten uit ons zonnestelsel".
Zo kun je op de Eye on Orbit website van Spacerik zijn maanglobe downloaden als dodecaëder (een regelmatig 12-vlak) of als afgeknotte icosaëder (32-vlakkige voetbal), maar op een gegeven moment kwam hij op het idee dat je dat ook met panoramafoto's kunt doen, zodat je een 360° beeld kunt maken van bijvoorbeeld binnenin de Cupola observatiemodule van het ISS International Space Station, maar dan alsof het binnenstebuiten is gekeerd! 🌑🌍🚀

Hans the Wolf has been experimenting designing papercraft models of (more or less) spherical objects in our solar system. On the Eye on Orbit website from Spacerik you can download a moon globe as a dodecahedron (regular-12-sided shape) or as a truncated icosahedron (a 'soccer ball' with 32 faces), but then he realized you can do the same with panoramic pictures too, so that you can create a 360° view of for example the Cupola observatory module of the ISS International Space Station, but inside out! 🙂
