Haha yes this is basically how I started: my Advance Wars models, most of my Star Trek models and several of my "miscellaneous models" were drawn by hand and then scanned, because Pepakura Designer didn't exist yet and in any case, I don't think I would have been skillful enough to use a 3D program or another computer program to make a paper model anyway back then... ;o)
I want to keep making my Advance Wars models by hand because well, it's fun, and also, that way, they will all have the same style of course.
But I think I'll also make bigger, more complex hand-drawn models again some time too, because it's very relaxing for me to make a paper model directly by hand instead of having to stare at a 3D computer model all the time! ;o)
When I first started, Kaizo told me that you built your own paper crafts, but this is truly awesome to see!!!
