can u make lifesize?
ReplyDeleteHello! I'm afraid I can't take request to change or alter papercraft models on request, it would take far too much time for me each time, sorry...
DeleteBut if you can find out how big Poipole is in real life, and how big Javierini's papercraft is, you can calculate how much you need to scale the paper model to make it lifesize yourself of course! :o)
If you're lucky enough to have a larg size printer/plotter, maybe you can just scale the sheets in the printer settings?
Otherwise, you could open the PDF files in Photoshop or Gimp (a free image editor), and scale the sheets before printer (make sure to scale all the sheets the same amount, and the same in both the width and height of the sheets!)
If you don't have an image editor that can open PDF files, you can convert the pages to regular BMP image files that you can open with any image editor with a free online tool like https://www.zamzar.com/convert/pdf-to-bmp/ first (and then scale up the sheets).
The scaled up parts probably won't fit on regular printer paper anymore, so you will have to make many more pages. Don't worry if you have to cut up and put pices of some parts on multiple sheets, you can glue/tape them back together again of course when you build the papercraft. Make sure to leave some room for the printer margins though so nothing gets cut off during pringting, and make sure you know which cut up pieces belong together in what way!
This way it's a lot more work, but you can print it just at home on your regular printer.
Alternatively, you can try and ask Javierini if he would be willing to scale up the papercraft in the Pepakura PDO files he made; they are protected with a password that only he knows (because he made them, not me! ;o) so you can't open in the Pepakura Designer software to do it yourself (you can only open them in the Pepakura Viewer which only lets you view and print the files if you don't have the password, not edit them).
You can try leaving Javierini a message on his weblog , or through his Facebook page or on his DeviantArt account
I'm sorry that I can't help you better than this, I hope you can try some of the options, have fun!
