Remodelling the literal armpits of Guybrush (and other stuff; Guybrush papercraft WIP update)

I find that pretty much all extracted video game models need work before they can be made into nice papercrafts. Usually there are problems with collisions around the joints like the shoulders and elbows and other areas.

Guybrush is no different, and as I said in the tutorial, the extraction process is not perfect (even though GLXtractor is a great tool!) and his armpits are literal pits, and his elbows don't look quite right either... So these needed some extra remodelling, which is really just a matter of making it look right in a way that you know you can make out of paper without too much problems.

Another thing that's worth mentioning, is the overall look of Guybrush's 3D model: if you compare it with Manny's game model, you can see Guybrush is quite a bit more complex! He even has an open mouth with teeth!

I really liked the (relative 😇) simplicity of Manny's papercraft though, so I want to try and make Guybrush a 'not-too-complex' papercraft as well, which means remodelling the head a bit to avoid having a million pieces for his face. 😉

Stay tuned!
