Almost a month ago, Paola was picked the winner for the Efteling Hansel and Gretel papercraft giveaway that I did towards the end of June! 😀
She was happy to have won, and quickly sent me her postal address, so I could send her her prize. Paola lives in Italy, and since I am from the Netherlands, this time the prize didn't have to travel to the other side of the world, just to southern Europe.
It took the postal services a little longer than their website originally promised, but last Monday, Paola received her prize and the little extras I included:
- Of course I used a strong, sturdy envelope to send the prize so that the papers wouldn't bend.
- I wrote a letter congratulating Paola again on winning the giveaway, and some pictures of the papercraft Hansel and Gretel House to help her build it (although it's really not a very difficult model).
- Of course I added the papercraft kit. 😜
- I made a card of the actual design sketch that the artist Anton Pieck made of the Hansel and Gretel house made for the Efteling (it turned out pretty accurate in the end I think! 🙂).
- I added a "golden" Efteling coin that you can get from the "Donkey lift your tail" in the Fairytale Forest as a memento of your visit to the Efteling.
- An Efteling park map so Paola won't get lost if she wants to visit the Efteling herself! (you can see an online version too here: link)
Here's a close up picture of the gold coin, and a video of how you can get one:
(note: the girl in the video is not me and it's also not Paola 😋)
I hope Paola likes her prize and enjoys building hansel and Gretel's candy house! (and maybe some day gets to have a great day at the Efteling herself 😀)
Have fun!
