I think I'll put him in his artwork pose (see here) but I'm still contemplating whether I'll make his hands a little bit more detailed, or whether I'll just leave them as "clumps" like they are in the game...?

I think I'll put him in his artwork pose (see here) but I'm still contemplating whether I'll make his hands a little bit more detailed, or whether I'll just leave them as "clumps" like they are in the game...?

That's a good pose, nice choice! I reckon making his hands more detailed would look better, like in the artwork, especially if he's going to be holding a map in the final product.

ReplyDeleteI haven't decided on the hands yet, though. With "clump hands" you'd have to simply glue the chart to his hands, but I also don't want to give this kind of figure 3D fingers again...
Maybe I'll give him "flat fingers", or maybe I'll think of something else before I get to it. ;o)
Flat fingers are when it's just a 2D type thing, right? I reckon that'd be effective, because he has small hands, wouldn't look out of place on a 3D figure. Small fingers would be way too fiddly, too ;)
