The neck piece, yes: the old method proved very difficult to build, and this way should be much easier (basically the same way as ZaL's neck).
And I did remove the fold lines on the body. Some parts like the paws, arms, legs and tail and the spiked hair really look better with sharp, crisp folds, but the body looks better without them I think.
I used the test build to see how it would look, and I'm pretty happy with the result! ;o)
