This time though, I'll show you Cassini, a robotic orbiter/space craft by NASA (the National Aeronautics and Space Administration), ESA (the European Space Agency) and the Italian space agency (ASI). As one of the longest and most ambitious planetary exploration efforts of Saturn and its icy moons it was very succesful! 🪐😀
It was launched in October 15 1997 and entered orbit around Saturn on June 30 2004. On September 15 2017 the mission was ended by sending the spacecraft to vaporize in Saturn's atmosphere (19 years and 335 days later!). That way it wouldn't collide with one of the many (sometimes relatively small!) moons at the end of its long-lasting joint mission!
So you could have built this papercraft long ago to be honest, but why not build it now? You can even choose between an easier to build version or an advanced one!
