Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics sports papercraft models!

Some of the sports of the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics in papercraft form!

2019 update: Epson's 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics papercraft minisite is long gone of course... The new link that I provided is is a 'capture' of the website by the Wayback Machine of The Internet Archive. Some of the download links still work, but not all of them sadly...

The Wayback Machine has crawled this website many times though, so be sure to try different captures to see if you have more luck downloading the papercraft you want from another date! And don't forget: always save a papercraft you like when you see it, even if it might be more than 10 years before you decide to build it. 😉

    Hello everybuddy,

I am a fanatic papercraft builder. I collect papercraft patterns to build them in my spare time. I retired now. So i've build many papercrafts. Surging the internet i've seen the beautiful templates of the 2008 Epson olympic papercrafts. I aso have reed that there are two series of that. But what i do or surge, i cant find where i can download the two olympc papercraft series.

Is there anyone who can or wl help me to get this two beautyfull Epson papercraft series?

With regards from John Statue from the Netherlands.

    Now in Dutch.,

    Hallo allemaal,

    1. Hi John! The papercrafts from the post are still available, they've just been moved to a different page somewhere over the years: http://www1.epson.com.hk/campaign/minisite/papercraft/olympic.htm

And I'm not 100% sure if it's what you mean, but I think it included the first ones that you can see here: https://web.archive.org/web/20080421054905/http://www.epson.com.hk:80/files/minisite/papercraft/olympic.htm (the download links there don't work anymore, but you can see they're on the new page with the newer ones as well)

      Have fun building!

    4. I had to go to https://www.john-statue-pictures.nl/ (instead of .com) but when I checked out your Galerij I could see that you weren't kidding when you said you are a papercraft enthusiast...! ;o)

That's a *huge* gallery with papercraft pictures you built, and a *huge* list with free Citroën HY papercrafts as well! And even a section with papercraft building tips! It's great to see people sharing their papercraft enthusiasm, I hope lots of people will enjoy your builds and get excited to try it out themselves!

Thanks for sharing and have fun!

    1. I think Epson finally shut down the 2008 Beijng Olympics papercraft minisite... ;o) I updated the link with an archived link from the Wayback Machine:
      https://web.archive.org/web/20091010061225/http://www.epson.com.hk/files/minisite/papercraft/olympic.htm

The taekwondo download link still seems to work, but not all of them will sadly... :o( But the site has been 'crawled' by the Wayback Machine many times, so you could try if other captures will have different working links? If you like them, save them now, even if it might be 10 years before you decide to build them! ;o)
