free papercraft star-shaped Tanabata gift envelope

⭕nce upon a time, there were a gifted weaver girl called Orihime and a hardworking cow herder called Hikoboshi. But after being wed, the two lovers started neglecting their work...

The bride's father separated them on opposite ends of the Milky Way as the stars Vega and Altair, and now they are only allowed to meet once a year on July 7th if they, as long as they fulfill their duties during the rest of year. 🌌🌟

On this day, Japan celebrates Tanabata, the Star Festival, and people "wish upon a star" by writing wishes for the future on strips of paper and hanging them from bamboo branches hoping that they will come true! 😄
