Paper Vader (papercraft LEGO Darth Vader minifig WIP)

I found a lot tweets from Japanese websites that are sharing free papercrafts so people can keep themselves busy while they can't go out, from the 'normal' buses and ambulances and fire trucks and and even a LEXUS Electrified, to cute baby ape sneaker mascots and deers going on holidays in a camper.

But of course I've already been keeping busy myself, with Paper Vader! He's fully built as you can see and yes: his face mask was very tricky... But it looks good I think, and the original LEGO Vader likes him too! 😉

Also: I kinda have to redo the print on the silver mirror/metallic cardstock for the light saber hilt. Well, I mean I didn't have to: only if I wanted to see the lines, really. 😉

And I had to be very careful not to smear the lines while cutting out the parts! It won't matter for the light saber hilt after it's assembled (because they are only fold and cut lines that you don't need anymore after it's assembled) but on my golden C-3PO for example the lines form his chest pattern and I still have to be very careful when picking him up or they will still wipe off...

    1. Thank you, I'm glad you like it! I'm working on the instructions (I took 80 pictures...) and the helmet is quite difficult with all its parts and intricate shapes, but I'm very happy with how it turned out! :o)
