Three new additions to the hall of fame on my papercraft webpage in one week! 😀

And this time, it’s not just a “simple” build of one of my papercrafts, Ben actually repainted one of my papercraft LEGO minifigs to resemble the LEGO Michael “Air” Jordan minifigs! 🏀

free new papercraft BoschJapan board game, cars and motorbike

The Bosch Japan papercraft website has been renewed - which is great 😀 because it means you can get 4 new free papercrafts! 🚘

...but it is always a bit sad 😢, because it means the old ones are gone from the website now (like this Christmas street racing diorama, these racing motorbikes, these Christmas themed race cars, these Halloween themed race cars, these spring themed race cars, and these other Christmas themed race cars...)

Tomb Raider II Venetian motorboat papercraft build by Gwendoline

Did you know that that the Venetian Motorboat from Tomb Raider II was the first papercraft that I made using the Pepakura Designer papercraft making software instead of just by hand using a pencil and a piece of paper? 

That was in 2005 already, but I'm happy to see when somebody still likes to build it themselves - like Gwendoline, who put her own special touch on it as usual! 😀

New free Tomb Raider The Base vignette papercraft WIP start

I have tons more ideas for new papercrafts, including lots more Tomb raider vignettes!

I will probably never be able to make all the ones that I'd like to do, Lara being chased by an overhead crane claw in the loading bay of the Russian Base in Tomb Raider Chronicles will be one that I will be making! 😃

As you can see, I made the vignette plan that I'm happy with. To fit the game, the claw should be way higher up, but this way I can keep the papercraft vignette a "normal", manageable size (just a tiny bit taller than the one for Young Lara).

As for Lara herself, I like her winter camo outfit even though there are a lot of unjoined joints to fix before being able to make it into a papercraft model. That also means fixing a lot of instances where the texture will get messed up a lot when the 3D model changes... 😉
