Now that everything is back to normal again after yesterday's April Fool's day, I can show you the status of the Koume and Kotake paper models without everybody thinking it's a joke! (I hope...)
Which is that they're pretty much completed, save for the instructions which I hope I'll be able to do this weekend. ;o)
Stay tuned!
But even if it was a joke from paperpokes.com you could still take over making pokemon papercrafts!! XD
ReplyDeleteIt looks really cool! I thought the paperpokes thing was real!
ReplyDeletewow they are looking great, we are gonna add these to are very long to do list but maybe move them far up lol. We are planning to do your king of red lions and twilight link models after we finish what we are doing at the moment. We have a blog now by the way and we mention a few times what a great designer you are lol and your on both our link post and great papercraft links section http://thepapercraftcouple.blogspot.com/ We would love it if you checked it out and told us what you think. (if you could link to us anywhere that would be great but no worries if you cant we will still sing your praises lol)
ReplyDeletethanks as always Jon and Hayley the papercraft couple
So they're stand alone? Or are you using some little thing you can't see in the picture to hold it up? Can't wait to build this! ;)
ReplyDeleteMore people fell for Paperpokés' April Fools' Day prank (or maybe they were just playing along of course... ;o)
ReplyDeleteOf course I might make more Pokémon models in the future, but I won't make *all* of them, sorry... (there are just too many ;o)
As for Koume and Kotake: if you look closely in the picture, you can see a small "pedestal" between their legs (lightblue for Kotake and red for Koume) that I made.
ReplyDeleteSitting on their besoms, it just wouldn't look nice to try and find a position where they would somehow stand on their own, so I opted for this solution where you balance them on these little pedestals.
(but I think they look better when hung from a piece of string, though! ;o)
And as for our Papercraft Couple's new weblog: I always like seeing other people's models! It's nice to see you two are obviously enjoying building paper models so much! (otherwise why would you have built so many of them, right? ;o)
ReplyDeleteI have added the link to your hall of fame listing, like your DeviantArt link earlier: http://ninjatoes.wordpress.com/2010/01/30/zora-armor-link-by-jon-and-hayley-the-papercraft-couple/
thank you for linking us! yeah, we are enjoying building loads of models at the mo lol and thanks for looking at our blog, it means a lot to us cos u are a huge inspiration to us!
ReplyDeletethank u, as always Jon and Hayley-the papercraft couple
ps the stands look good :-)
They look awsome!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I just finished uploading the parts and instructions to my papercraft webpage (www.kickme.to/ninjatoes) so have fun building! ;o)
ReplyDeleteWhen are you going to make Sonic the hedgehog?
ReplyDeleteI don't know yet, I always have to choose between dozens of ideas so many of them will have to wait until a later time I'm afraid...
