Roppongi Hills is a development project in Minato, Tokyo around several skyscrapers (including the massive Mori Hills with 54 floors!) and facilities 🏢 by building tycoon Minori Mori.

Because this 1:1000 scale papercraft includes the whole development, so you actually get 13 papercrafts in one:

6. Keyakizaka Complex

free papercraft Wallypower 118 super yacht

Kashiwazaki told me about the papercraft Wallypower 118 luxury yacht that Jan Rükr has on his Alienspapercraft  website (along with lots more papercrafts he created!)

It was even featured in the 2005 Michael Bay movie The Island and in 2012 I came across a black-and-white papercraft version of it from Gentlemen's Report, but it was only in black-and-white and the website has long been gone... If you still want to build it though, now you can try Jan's version - and in color! 😀

Every plane that flies faster than the speed of sound generates supersonic booms. 🔉🛫

As part of their STEM effort to inspire people about Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, Quiet SuperSonic Technology, QueSST is NASA's mission to demonstrate how their X-59 jet can fly supersonic while minimizing the sound of those booms so maybe in the future supersonic air travel over lands can be allowed? 😀

free Wiskunstelaar papercraft Pythagoras Tree

You might know the ancient mathematician Pythagoras from his famous a^2+b^2=c^2 theorem to calculate the lengths of the sides of a right triangle? (or at least I hope you do! 😉)

In 1942, it inspired Dutch mathematics teacher Albert E. Bosman, to come up with the Pythagoras Tree fractal, an endlessly repeating geometrical pattern.

And in 2024, it inspired Dutch Wiskunstelaar to share a free papercraft of a 3D pythagoras tree that you can build together with your math class! 👍
