'tis The month of Halloween again!
I made several papercraft Halloween "specials" the past few years (Oogie Boogie, the Warcraft III Graveyard and this year's LEGO Ghost) but of course there are many more Halloween models to be found online!
RavensBlight for instance focuses pretty much solely on Halloween models! ;o)
And a lot of companies like the Canon Creative Park sites have paper models for pretty much every occasion, including Halloween, and Kirin Beverage is also releasing a set of Halloween models this year.
And of course there are more sites like SpaceStation42 that have made a their own papercraft Halloween models (and much more!) and I'm sure you can find many more to keep you busy all the way 'till Halloween if you search a bit online!
Have fun building!
Quoting: "...paper toys"
ReplyDeleteHaha, who would want to play with their hard-worked for papercrafts? ^^
Mainly kids, I guess. ;o) But the toy/play part is also just the fun of building of course! ;o)
ReplyDeleteA lot of tabletop wargame (like Warhammer 40k) players make paper units as a cheap alternative to plastic kits to play with too.
And there's a whole papercraft subcategory of urban paper toys (like Cubees, Boxpunx, HedKase etc.) where for many people it's sort of a game to put them in funny situations (paper childs are kinda the same, only those are really 2D cutouts).
Others really just do like to build paper models to look at, or just to collect. But even for them, I think you could see the 2D sheets as toys for them to play with, to create their 3D papercraft model. ;o)
