Hi! I want to download it but i can't find your e-mail where i have to ask for... can you help me please?
ReplyDeleteThere are several issues that you have to be aware of here I think:
Delete- This model was not made by me, but by Daniel Peters, so it's not my e-mail that you need! ;o)
- If you go to the http://www.daniel-kartonmodellbau.de.tl/Kartonmodelle.htm link, you will see a list of several different paper models that Daniel offers; if you slowly scroll down, you will see the "Fokker Dr.I" about halfway down the page.
- For the "Fokker Dr.I" plane, you don't need any password at all! You can click the PDF-icon next to the Fokker Dr.I image, and you will be taken to the download page.
- Daniel has chosen to use a file storage site called 4Shared to store his paper model files, and since a few months, this site does not allow anonymous downloading anymore...
This means, that you have to make an account on 4Shared if you want to download anything from 4Shared now. To do so, you have to click the Sign Up button on the top of the screen on the 4Shared site, and enter a valid e-mail adress and choose password. You will receive a convirmation e-mail to create your free 4Shared account.
Once you created a 4Shared account, you login with the information you provided. Then when you the blue "Download Now" button when you want to download anything from 4Shared, you will be taken to a new page where you can choose to download the file fast and without advertising with a premium account, but if you only have a free account, you can click the "FREE DOWNLOAD" button: the only difference is that you will have to wait 20 seconds before the download starts and you will see a few advertisments on the 4Shared site.
- Like I said, the "Fokker.DrI" does not have a password, so after downloading it, you should have no problem opening it. It's a PDF file, so make sure you have a PDF reader installed on your computer of course (like http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html )
- You can recognize Daniel Peters' paper models that do need a password, because they will have a black text just below the image saying "Diese Datei ist Passwortgeschützt!"
The text further says, that you have to e-mail Daniel with your full name (first and last name) and ask for the password of the model you want. On the left side of the page there is a menu with the option "Kontakt" which leads to an e-mail form that you can fill out to send an e-mail to Daniel Peters ( http://www.daniel-kartonmodellbau.de.tl/Kontakt.htm )
I haven't tried asking any of the passwords myself, but I reckon this is where you ask him: on the first line, you can enter your e-mail adress, and on the line "Dein Name:" you can enter your first and last name like Daniel asks, and under "Betreff:" you can tell him which password you want, or you can use the big box for that of course.
I hope this explains how the page and the downloading works for Daniel's Kartonmodellbau page and that Daniel still watches his e-mail! ;o)
