(How to download these archived JPG files: Click the archived links above; it looks like the archived Google Drive links keep endlessly loading, but aparently that's just the old preview image. When you pick up the browser tab instead to open it in a SEPARATE window, it will try to open another archived link for the JPEG file itself. It looks like that link is dead, but wait a little bit and it will automatically download the file instead! 😃 (this 'trick' in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge for me 😉)

ReplyDeleteThese papercrafts were actually created by Thanadol; he added my name on the picture because when he wanted to share his papercrafts with others but he didn't have his own website and he asked me to share the Google Drive download links directly on my papercraft weblog (normally I only share the creator's website link because I don't want it to look like I steal their papercrafts...!)
DeleteBut of course Thanadol is still the one that owns the files for his papercrafts, and who created the download links for them. Unfortunately, it is possible that he moved the files so the links don't worek anymore, or that deleted them completely... I know that he is still active with papercraft though, although he likes to use a new name now: Retrocale.
I actually don't know if he has his own website now, but he does have a Facebook profile: link The best option is to try and contact him and ask if he still has the papercraft and if still wants to share it with you? (you can ask a family member or a friend to try and get in touch with him if you don't have a Facebook account yourself)
I'm sorry tht I can't help you better than this, I hope you will be able to get in touch with Thanadol / Retrocale to adk for these paper models!

DeleteAnother commenter tried the Wayback Machine (https://web.archive.org/) and it still seems to work if you use a special way in this case! ;o) I added the archived links (and the 'special' way I used) to the post above, have fun building!

DeleteWhen I tried the Wayback Machine like the original commenter in this tread too, it looked like the archived Google Drive link (I added them to the post above now) keeps endlessly loading, but apparently that's just the preview image in Google Drive. When I tried to pick up a browser tab for the archived URL to put it into a SEPARATE window, it stopped loading and instead let me press a download buttton directly. Again, it tries to go to another tab that's dead, but wait a little longer, and then the file downloads automatically! (I only tried for Google Chrome: (https://www.google.com/chrome, because that's what I use ;o). I hope it works for you too, have fun building!
