After fixing the textures, the Postman looks much better already (his "underwear-look" was actually caused by the messed up clothing texture ;o)
So now I can start looking more closely to the model, to see which parts need fixing before you can make it out of paper, and which parts could simply be done a little easier.
Stay tuned!
YEAH POSTMAN! I might have to break my period of not papercrafting to make this :) It's been 2 months, what's wrong with me?! :P
ReplyDeleteWell I guess you have other hobbies too! ;o)
ReplyDeleteI haven't done a lot of work on the Postman yet, but I hope I'll be able to post a new update this weekend.
It's still a long way from completion though, so you can keep up with your other hobbies a little longer still! ;o)
This your 200th work in progress label post!
ReplyDeletethis will need a base stand, because wont stand as fierce deity link does
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think you're right; because the postman is really just balancing on one feet, he will probably need a stand to prevent him from falling over all the time.
ReplyDeleteAnd my 200th WIP post, I hadn't even noticed really... Not nearly 200 new models, though... :o(
You're right, I have drawing and paintings to work on! But I am definitely going to still papercraft. I've collected a big amount of crafts over the last couple of months, but it's just the matter of putting them in action! But, I'm very sure your Postman will kick me back into gear, if any of the other ones don't! (Although I hope to work on some before Postie, in case yours takes too long haha) ;)
ReplyDeleteIs this going to be the finale pose for him? I like it because it's basically his trademark running man pose :D
Yeah, I chose his running pose because he spends most of his day like that, delivering the mail all over Clocktown. ;o)
ReplyDeleteLike Anonymous said, though, he will probably need a stand, so I've been trying to think of one that would look nice.
Have fun drawing/painting/building! ;o)
