Shee^Hath update

Like the shield, the sheath for the Master Sword had a lot of tiny details that would be too difficult to build in paper form in the scale I intend to.

I re-textured it to fit the (easier) shape I wanted it to have (still need to finetune the texture a bit more I think) but I'm also not quite sure about the hugeness of the sheath; it kinda looks way out of proportion!

Luckily it can easily be re-scaled, the next parts (the head and hair and the Master Sword's guard will be a lot more work than that...

Stay tuned!

  6. i like how the neck is now, will you be leaving it like that? the sheath is great, just the perfect size. will you be doing the sword or the head next?

  7. Well I guess bigger really is better when it comes to video game swords. ;o)

I will leave the size as it is now and test build it like that, and then I'll be able to see the proportions better than on a computer screen. ;o)

The same goes for the neck: I will test build it like this I think (with the standing collar) and decide then whether or not I'll keep it (but to be honest, I already tried a "texturized collar" on the neck and it didn't look very good, so I'm 90% sure I will keep the collar this way ;o)

  11. I've noticed that for some reason, my mind wants to type the word "sheath" (the holder/casing for a sword) as "sheeth"...

When you know that "^h" is "computer language" for "Backspace", you'll probably get it if you try to type it in Word or Notepad, replacing "^h" with a backspace ;o)

  13. I think I will test build them, and then when they turn out okay to build, I will include them in the final model.
